Televisions have evolved with the last two decades and it’s almost unrecognizable. From those mere box looking televisions to smart TV’s, we have come a long way. Televisions then V/s Televisions now have been discussed below :

SIZE OF THE TELEVISION:

The very first television was huge but that had tiny screens that were set in 1927. With time, the size of the television got smaller but the screen remained the same. In 1957, the television almost looked like a box with a small screen. With years, the size of the televisions got smaller and the size of the screen got bigger.

The box looking device turned into a slightly pleasing LED that had no big broad borders but a bigger screen and then it transformed into LCDs, now, Smart TVs. It’s unbelievable to see how visually pleasing the size of the TV’s is now. Although the first TV was big it was bulky and not pleasing to see at the same time.

It was big but only vertically but now the smart TVs we have are horizontally wide and a pleasure to have as it almost feels like we’re seeing something live on a big scale.

SCREEN OF TV:

The very first computer had a very small screen. In 1957, A TV was made which had a slightly bigger screen and the size of the screen hasn't stopped getting bigger since then. We all know how the normal box TV’s looked like and how LED initially changed our visuals regarding it.

Though the LED had a small screen it looked more clear as it had thin borders and a larger screen area. The screen got bigger and bigger with LCD And now Smart Tv. The screens are now wider, thinner, and longer. It’s unbelievable but we have a 370 inches tv measured diagonally that’s created by a British Company and it’s known as the “World’s Largest Tv”.

The TV companies are making sure that the screen is so big that the Thing you’re looking at seems as close to you as you’re seeing it live. With such a big achievement, we cannot even imagine what’s next.

PICTURE QUALITY:

Blurry black and white images to sharp realistic colorful ones, the evolution of the picture quality is insane. 1946-1950 were the years in which the first color television was invented. Before that, the television had black and white, non-pleasing images.

Even when the colored televisions were invented, the picture quality was horrible and blurry. You could not see the details that were shown on TV. In 2006, the TVs were invented and had better quality pictures and sharp technology on the screens.

Since then, the quality of the color and picture is getting better and it hasn’t stopped. Now the TV’s have sharper-looking visions and the picture looks so clear that it almost feels like whatever is going on tv, you’re seeing it live.

This tremendous quality improvement has made everybody sit in-front of the tv for long hours without anyone getting tired.

BUTTONS TO REMOTE CONTROL:

The televisions at the start only had a button or two. Later the number of buttons increased so you can perform further functions with the buttons.

Over the years the remote control was invented which not only made it more convenient to use but also had features that fascinated people of that age. Not standing again and again for each task to perform made it easier for people and less tiring to watch tv.

A SINGLE CHANNEL TO ONLINE CONTENT:

The TV’s before had a single channel and that too black and white. With time, more channels came into being and it became interesting to see as there was more entertainment content coming in. Then we would have to wait for our favorite tv shows but now we’re no longer held accountable for the schedules of tv shows, we can watch them whenever we want.

We now have the luxury to connect our TVs with wi-fi and watch content online on big realistic screens. We can even record our favorite shows in advance and tackle them however we want, ( mute, pause, and rewind as per our wish).

On these big screens, we can binge-watch our favorite tv shows on Netflix and we can even see videos and pictures that are secure in our USB’s as TV’s now even have USB ports. A wedding movie or a slideshow of aesthetics portrays, on the big screen and with sharper picture quality, it looks pleasing to see. It's a treat to our visual abilities

THE THICKNESS:

The TV’s back then was very thick and bulgy. They almost looked empty as there were very small screens. With time and effort, the thickness started varying and TVs started getting thinner and day by day. Even the wooden borders started getting removed and Tv’s looked thinner than ever.

The TV’s we have now are sleek, thin, and beautifully designed which doesn’t even look pleasant but is easy to carry because of the lightweight.

THE WEIGHT OF TV:

The first-ever TV was very heavy. It had an unnecessary weight and was very difficult to even carry. The weight of the TVs started getting lighter as they transformed but they were still heavy.

The TV’s we have now are heavy too but they hold just as the screen size is really big and as per to the comparison, they’re lighter than those who had small screens. The TV’s now are easy to carry and classy to look at. You can easily lift them up of course with someone’s help as TVs now are more delicate than they were back in those past years. But those bulging looking boxes are in no comparison with these curved edges TVs. They’re more convenient to carry.

THE PRICING:

The first-ever tv was really expensive but people still bought it as it was an innovation. In the middle, the TVs did get a lot cheaper than before or even in comparison with now as it offered a compact amount of features and also the quality. I agree with the fact that TVs are highly expansive now but for the features and technological aspects they have covered, everybody sees them as essential in today's age.

CONCLUSION:

It’s a luxury one cannot get enough of and it’s even unbelievable to think about how it has evolved over the years. The shiny sleek screens with advanced technology remote controls and a USB port with wi-fi connecting features, Doesn't it all sound like a definition of perfection? It does, right? Some years back, it was all a mere dream and now a luxurious beautiful reality. Who knows what the future may bring. A tv in the air or something more exceptionally unimaginable? Well, we’ll see.
