You do not have to worry about the battery life of these models, as they ensure moderate use and can even sustain heavy usage. The average battery timing for this series is 9 to 10 hours, but it can also vary depending on your usage.

Also, you must know some power-hungry CPUs like Intel can consume your battery quickly. While the AMD CPUs do not consume battery as fast as Intel's CPUs do, you must keep these factors in mind for battery usage.

4 Best Asus Tuf Gaming Laptop Models in Pakistan

Now, let's find out about some details of different models of this series.

Asus TUF Gaming F15

One of the finest models of this series is the TUF Gaming F15, which is equipped with high-tech components. With an i7-12700H processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, it can be one of the finest additions to your activities. It is a mid-range machine that contains powerful components, and many high-level gamers carry this model.

When it comes to pricing, nothing can be said with assurance. Due to the uncertain economic conditions of Pakistan, prices never remain stable. Therefore, you must do a proper search to know the latest Asus TUF F15 Price in Pakistan.

Let's find out some different aspects of this model.

Design

The MIL-STD-810H certification of the TUF F15, which indicates that it can survive shock, vibration, and other extreme circumstances, makes it one of the most durable gaming laptops of this series.

It is built of an alloy of aluminum and plastic and feels very sturdy, just like the one from 2021. The measurements mainly support ASUS' claim that the new model is 4.5% smaller than the 2021 model. The 2022 model is somewhat shorter and narrower at 354 x 251 x 25mm but slightly thicker and 200g heavier at 2.2kg.

Off Black, which we felt to be a more subdued color, is an option for the TUF F15, which is also available in Moonlight White. It was also more subdued than the TUF Dash model from the previous year. Now, when the laptop is closed, a cutout on the bottom of the lid allows you to see four status lights above the keyboard, which is found to be fairly distracting in low light.

One USB-A connector on the TUF F15 has been swapped out for a USB-C port on the left profile of the laptop to improve communication.

It means that you are going to have a variety of connection ports that will significantly impact your usability. It includes a Thunderbolt 4 port, a Type-C USB port, a Gigabit Ethernet connector, A 3.5mm audio jack, HDMI 2.0b port, and DC power input. Along with a Kensington lock slot, the other USB-A port is situated on the right edge of the laptop.

After removing the bottom panel, you may easily have access to the TUF F15's internal parts and update the existing SSD, add a second 2280 M.2 SSD, or swap out the RAM cards.

Graphical Results

The Asus TUF Gaming F15 (2022), which features an Intel Core i7 processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, was examined. The GPU has 6 GB of GDDR6 memory and a maximum graphics power of 140 W, which explains why the Gaming F15 destroys its rivals in terms of powerful 1080p gaming. Competitors with RTX 3050 (4GB, DDR6) and 3060 (8GB, DDR5) GPUs, respectively, are the Acer Nitro 5 (2022) and the Alienware x14.

The computers are tested by launching the Metro Exodus benchmark 15 times at RTX settings, representing around 30 minutes of gameplay. With some swings throughout, the game averaged 67.85 frames per second.

CPU speeds during the stress test averaged 3.7 GHz for performance cores and 2.7 GHz for efficiency cores. Similar to the GPU, the chip's average temperature was 78.7 degrees Celsius (173.66 degrees Fahrenheit).

Touchpad and Keyboard

The full-size membrane keyboard on the TUF F15 boasts a numeric keypad, a travel distance of 1.7mm, smooth action, and a nice bounce at the bottom. These features make the keyboard excellent for both typing and gaming. The keyboard also boasts recognizable transparent WASD keys and four useful hotkeys for opening the ASUS Armory Crate control panel, muting the microphone, and controlling the volume at the top.

Unfortunately, the keyboard's backlight unevenly illuminates the key images, which can be annoying in dimly lit areas. As an illustration, the small Fs on the function keys have their upstrokes fully lit, but the remainder of the letter and the digits to the right are only partially lit. The stylized designs and this can make the keys appear cluttered.

On the plus side, the TUF F15's trackpad has expanded by 27%. To keep prices down, it is made of plastic, but it has a smooth surface and a satisfying click.

Audio and Display

The display on the TUF F15 had a decently high brightness level and good color accuracy. A 15.6-inch panel with a 1080p resolution and a pixel density of 143 dpi is a respectably high figure. Even if there are better, more expensive laptops available for precise content creation tasks, it is more than adequate for gaming and movie viewing. Really, the TUF F15 is quite excellent for its class at this price point.

The TUF F15's Dolby Atmos-capable speakers have a reasonable volume and a lot of bass, but the sound quality is not as good as some rivals, with the midrange soundstage sounding a little hazy. For a better sound experience, you may opt for quality headphones.

Battery Life and Performance

In our benchmark tests, the TUF F15 averaged 105 frames per second in the 1080p Shadow of the Tomb Raider test, 99 frames per second in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy with the highest graphical settings, and 87 frames per second in Horizon Zero Dawn with the same settings. These are decent frame rates for a 1080p gaming laptop, but if it supported 1440p resolution, then it would have been better as well because an RTX 3070 Laptop GPU appears incredibly inefficient at Full HD resolution.

One issue observed was that the top of the keyboard deck between the lid hinges may become warm to the touch whenever the TUF F15 is subjected to intense stress for extended periods of time. Although it's not uncomfortable, it is obvious and worth mentioning in this context.

However, a 90mWh battery performs well, and in the battery test, it lasted for 8 hours and 2 minutes. That's a respectable battery life performance for a laptop with an RTX 3070 GPU.

Asus Tuf Gaming A15

Here is another top gaming model that is the first choice of many professional gamers. Appealing design is one of the most prominent aspects of this device, which also has a solid build quality. The usage can be rough at times when gamers are using the machine for 7 to 8 hours continuously. So, a laptop should be able to bear the wear and tear.

Display quality is another noticeable feature, with the screen size of 15.6 inches, aspect ratio of 16:9, and screen resolution of 2560 x 1440p. It can also provide you with great results, which allows you to view amazing visibility. The 90W battery can also ensure long-lasting performance and decent run times, which helps you avoid interruptions in charging the device again and again.

On the other hand, AMD Ryzen 7 CPU can provide you with a satisfactory working pace, which enables you to enjoy a smooth experience. It would be right to say that this is decently priced in most of the regions across the world. But when it comes to Pakistan, nothing can be said with complete surety due to unstable economic conditions. That is why we recommend searching the current Asus TUF A15 Price in Pakistan. Do not rely on the old price, as prices continuously fluctuate.

The weight of this model is around 2.07 kg, which is not heavy considering it is a typical gaming machine. You may also carry it easily if you want to move your station somewhere else.

Let's find out some of the important aspects of this model.

Design

With 2x RAM stocks, one SSD inside, and a 90 Wh battery, the 2022 15-inch TUF range is around 5% more compact and 7% lighter than the previous generations, weighing less than 2.1 kilos for this configuration. Aside from size, they have also made a small change to the building materials and design lines.

The bottom and the sides have this rougher dark-gray gray finish, while the main chassis, armrest, and keyboard deck are still made of the same black plastic with a simpler, more subdued texture. With almost no flex in the keyboard deck or the lid and no strange noises, while taking this up and using it every day, the build quality is generally strong. You will need to continuously clean off the interior's black plastic because it shows smudges easily.

The lids have also been updated, and there are now two metal alternatives to pick from: the one we have here has the TUF logo embossed, while the other has the TUF logo laser engraved along with some vertical lines. Both are a touch more upscale than the earlier possibilities, particularly when compared to the black plastic model used for the cheaper 2021 variants.

Trackpad and Keyboard

With a NumPad area, they still chose a full layout, and almost everything is positioned correctly. The arrow keys are broader than before but shorter and more crowded inside the rest of the keyboard, while the NumPad keys are narrower than the main deck of keys. But overall, this is a decent layout.

The response is firmer than on prior TUFs, but it still takes some getting used to because the keys are still fairly smudgy and silky to the touch. Although I prefer the ROG Strix models' more immediate reaction, I can see myself adjusting to this approach just well. With the exception of the Space key, I also noticed that the actuations were quiet.

The Armory Crate app's AURA software allows for single-zone control of the RGB-lighted keys. At its highest setting, the illumination is even and sufficiently bright. However, some light can be seen peeking out from behind the keycaps, especially since they are made with translucent sides that are intended to let light shine through.

Asus also included a distinct Caps-Lock indicator and provided the option to restart the illumination when it has timed out by swiping over the click pad.

On this TUF version, they replaced the fixed touchpad with dedicated buttons with a 25% larger clickpad-style surface for the mouse. This clickpad resembles those on more expensive Asus products, but it is made of smooth plastic rather than glass, and throughout my time using the laptop, I found it to be responsive and reliable. The implementation itself is solid and doesn't squeak when touched; however, the actual clicks in the corners are somewhat clumsy and loud.

Display

For the 2022 TUF Gaming A15 series, the manufacturer provides a few screens, all 15.6 inches, 16:9, matte, and non-touch. It has a refresh rate of 144Hz and a brightness of 300+ nits, along with a color gamut of 65% sRGB.

Avoid the entry-level option since it is likely the drab and slow Panda panel that was offered with earlier entry-level notebooks. The QHD model is actually a good selection in this class of notebooks, while the FHD 300Hz is a balanced budget alternative.

Despite the fact that it doesn't get very bright and would need additional calibration for professional use, the QHD display we have on our test device is a good panel by today's standards. Because of the wide spectrum coverage and outstanding color fidelity, we found it to be perfect for both daily and creative use. This is a good option for gaming as well, with quick refresh rates and responses; tearing is avoided only via Adaptive-Sync, not GSync.

Performance

With AMD Ryzen 7 6800H processor, 16 GB of dual-channel DDR5-4800 RAM, 1 TB of average SSD storage, and two graphics cards, including an Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU with 6 GB of vRAM and the Radeon 680M iGPU built into the AMD processor, you can expect stunning performance from this model.

The 2022 ASUS TUF Gaming A15 series is constructed using the most recent AMD and Nvidia components. With 8 Cores and 16 Threads, the Ryzen 7 6800H is the entry-level option for the AMD Rembrandt 6000 platform. This Ryzen 7 5800H update from a year ago is based on the improved Zen3+ 6 nm architecture and features an upgraded Radeon GPU in addition to improvements to design, IPC, and efficiency.

The TUF Gaming series' design enables the processor to operate at 80+W of sustained power under taxing conditions, ensuring the most multi-threaded performance possible from this AMD CPU. We'll discuss that afterward.

A thorough comparison of the AMD Ryzen 7 6800H and Intel Core i7-12700H platforms in the TUF Gaming chassis is provided here if that is of interest.

The RTX 3000 and RTX 3000 Ti graphics chips are available for the GPU in the 2022 TUF Gaming series. In this sample, we have the mid-range RTX 3060 dGPU, which in supported games and apps can operate at up to 140W with Dynamic Boost.

Asus Tuf Gaming A17

Investing in this model can be one of the best decisions that you will ever make. With state-of-the-art hardware specifications and features, it will elevate your performance big time and help you attain your desired results without compromising on quality and other factors.

The 17.3-inch display with 1920 x 1080p screen resolution ensures an immersive experience that allows you to pay closer attention to your activities. The AMD Ryzen 7 processor and 32 GB RAM are other valuable components in the model, which increases its worth and allows you to make the most out of your activities.

The 48 W battery also suits the performance, which can provide you with great results and help you to make the most out of your performance.

Design

The TUF Gaming FA706 shares the same design and manufacturing details as the 15-inch model but is larger in size.

The FA706 is a little bit smaller and lighter, stronger made, and more aesthetically pleasing than the FX705 of the previous generation. The laptop has been reinforced and seems stronger and better manufactured than before. It still complies with MIL-STD-810H reliability standards and has a plastic chassis and inside deck. In addition, the lid cover is made entirely of metal and comes in two variations: the straightforward Fortress Gray model shown above and the more intricate Bonfire Black edition.

The ergonomics of the laptop are further impacted by certain minor upgrades. The screen still doesn't lean back past a 145-degree angle, and the front lip and corners are still blunt and nice on the wrists. The bottom has been completely rebuilt, and the hinges are a little smoother and allow you to push up the display with just one hand. There is also a notch at the top of the screen where you may grip it. It now has bigger, more grippy rubber feet, bigger speaker cutouts, and redesigned air intake cuts.

In this setup, which only receives a 50W GPU, cooling is not a major issue, but the higher tier 1660Ti will profit from the improvements. It's important to note that the two variations also differ internally in that the GTX 1650 Ti has a simpler thermal module but is still capable of controlling the hardware's temperature. We'll discuss this further down.

Additionally, I should point out that this FA706II model just has cutouts at the back, unlike the more potent models, which have an additional output grill on the right side. That's fantastic news because it means your mouse won't be blown with hot air anymore.

The TUF FA706 also receives a modest IO revision at the end. The majority of the ports are still lined up on the right, where the PSU is located at the back, followed by LAN and HDMI, two USB-A slots, and a USB-C connector that supports data and DP1.4 but not Thunderbolt 3 or charging. It's a first for the TUF lineup because none of the earlier models had USB-C ports.

Overall, this TUF Gaming FA706 might not seem like a huge update over the FX705s, but it actually improves on numerous minor elements that add up to an overall superior product, much as I concluded in our assessment of the smaller 15-inch FA506 series.

Trackpad and Keyboard

The keyboard is identical to that used on the TUF FA506 and differs just slightly from that which was previously provided with the FX705 series. The design is straightforward and functional, with a main deck of keys that is appropriately sized and spaced out, a more congested NumPad area, and newly redesigned arrows that are smaller but more evenly distributed than before.

For someone like myself who is more acclimated to shorter-stroke keyboards, the typing experience is still merely fine, not horrible, but not wonderful either. These keys have a soft sensation to the touch and sink 1.8 mm into the chassis, but they also have a spongy, inaccurate feel to the feedback, which affects both accuracy and typing speed by making it difficult to detect if a push was fully registered.

Of course, everyone has their own preferences when it comes to typing feedback, but after you get used to it, I think most of you will be satisfied with this. There are, in my opinion, nicer types out there.

I should also point out that the accompanying AURA software allows you to customize the color and various effects of the RGB-lighted single-zone keys. The model's illumination is very uniform; the LEDs become brighter on the higher setting, and—contrary to what I had anticipated from a taller implementation like this one—the light doesn't creep as badly from beneath the keycaps.

This generation's mouse features a fixed plastic touchpad and dedicated click buttons, which is a welcome revamp of the click pad used in the FX705s. Although it is relatively little for this day and age, it functions okay. It is an Elan implementation using Precision drivers, and it works flawlessly with taps, swipes, and other common gestures. Despite the fact that the click buttons are really lovely, quiet, and silky, I discovered that the surface still ratchets when tapped vigorously, however, not as loudly as on the FX705s. Last but not least, this laptop lacks biometric security.

Display

This 17-inch model does not receive a panel bump with the next generation, in contrast to the smaller TUF A15 FA506. Instead, it is still limited to the AU Optronics 173HAN04, a 120 Hz IPS screen. In the past, seven other OEMs have used them on budget gaming laptops like the MSI GL75. For what it's worth, this panel is also available in a 144 Hz version with significantly better features than I had anticipated, especially given that other manufacturers have been providing panels with these characteristics in a comparable price range for a long.

Although this panel doesn't use PWM and is suitable for indoor use and gaming, it is also quite dim and washed out, so don't expect vibrant colors or intend to use it in bright settings. However, given that the 15-inch model had an updated panel, I would have anticipated seeing one on the FA706.

Although this is likewise correctly calibrated out of the box, our tests did detect a somewhat noticeable decrease in DeltaE variance in the sample's left quadrants. I doubt that would have much of an impact on your choice, though, as you wouldn't want to use a panel like this for work that requires color accuracy in the first place.

Performance

Our test computer is a mid-range Asus TUF Gaming FA706II model with the Ryzen 7 4800H processor, 32 GB of dual-channel RAM, an M.2 PCIe x4 SSD for storage, and dual graphics with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650Ti 4GB dGPU and the latest Radeon Vega 8 iGPU built into the AMD chip.

Remember that this is a prototype running on software that was current as of mid-April 2020 (BIOS 302, Armoury Crate 2.6.14, and GeForce 445.87 drivers; more recent versions did not install). As a result, some features may change in response to future software upgrades. Our results, however, are consistent with the AMD/ASUS recommendations, so they should also be largely representative of what you'll get with the retail models.

The Ryzen 4000 H platform is the primary innovation here, similar to how it is with the 15-inch model, and the Ryzen 7 4800H chip in this larger chassis was faultless in our tests. It is an 8C/16T CPU that outperforms the previous Ryzen 7 3750H APU in all areas thanks to support for faster RAM and storage as well as a number of other upgrades. In most instances, it even outperformed all currently available Mobile platforms, including the Intel i9s, but we'll discuss it in more detail in a different comparison.

Since single-channel memory suffers significantly in games with more recent Windows 10 versions, you should upgrade any lower-tier systems that only come with one RAM stock in single-channel.

As a step up from the current GTX 1650 GPU seen on 2019 entry-level gaming models, the Nvidia GTX 1650Ti GPU is a new chip designed for low-cost laptops. It technically has a slightly lower clock speed than the GTX 1650, but because it has GDDR6 memory, it performs 5 to 15% better in games and GPU loads. In an upcoming piece, we'll compare the two.

Aside from that, the RAM and storage can be accessed and replaced, but the CPU and GPU are permanently soldered to the motherboard and cannot be removed. To do that, you'll need to unscrew a few of the screws holding the rear panel in place. Due to their various sizes, take care to reposition them correctly. Remember that the bottom-right screw is a non-removable pop-up screw that was created to make it simpler for you to remove that rear panel. When you get there, you'll know what I mean.

You'll see that this variation has a lot of empty space inside because our setup has a smaller 48 Wh battery, an HDD cage, and just one M.2 SSD socket. Although it is taped to the cage and not connected, the HDD connector is still present.

If given the choice, you should choose the model with a larger battery that forgoes the HDD cage in favor of a 90 Wh battery and an additional M.2 SSD slot. Speaking of, the Intel 660p QLC drive in our review unit was somewhat sluggish. The PCIe x4 connection means that upgrades may be warranted in this situation. However, bear in mind that the included drive differs by location, so getting in touch with your local supplier is really the only way to know for sure what you'll get on your device.

Asus Tuf DASH Gaming F15

Another popular model of the series that you must know about is the Tuf DASH Gaming F15. With the Intel Core i7 processor, 16 GB RAM, and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, this model can also prove to be your best companion in your gaming journey.

As already mentioned above, there is nothing certain about the price of this model, so you must inquire about the latest Asus TUF dash F15 Price in Pakistan. It will help you make the right decision according to your financial restrictions and requirements.

Design

The TUF Dash series is a more streamlined, lighter, and more elegantly designed version of the standard TUF Gaming notebooks.

With a matte black inside, lid, and dark gray underbelly, our unit is the black color option. Another variant is available with the same black interior but a white lid and bottom. I find this version odd because the manufacturer previously used an all-white design for the previous-generation Dash F15. I haven't seen it in person, but based on the images that are available, I like this black version that I have.

Similar to the standard notebooks, the interior is made of matte-smooth plastic, while the lid is made of aluminum. Both surfaces are pleasant to the touch, but you will need to clean them frequently because they are also smudge-prone.

Additionally, the laptop is strong and well-made; I haven't heard any odd noises or creaks while using it. At just under 2 kilos for this tested configuration, it is also slightly thinner and lighter than the typical mid-range 15-inch laptop.

I think this design to be somewhat useful, but not entirely. On the one hand, I appreciate the solid hinges that maintain the screen in place during setup without wobbling or shifting, as well as the chassis' strong feel and gripping rubber feet. The front lip and corners, on the other hand, are rough on my wrists, and I don't understand why Asus keeps including bright status LEDs under the screen; in fact, with this iteration, they're much brighter and more obnoxious than before when using the laptop in low light. Additionally, the screen only extends back around 150 degrees rather than all the way flat, as I would want in a portable-wannabe design.

If you intend to connect multiple peripherals, the area around the ports, which are generally on the left and in front of the laptop, may get cluttered.

Overall, the Dash F15 has a stylish and adaptable design, but it occasionally displays its limited budget and has some functional flaws that may turn some of you off.

Keyboard and Touchpad

With a NumPad portion and an additional set of multimedia keys at the top-left, the layout is adequate. General, this means that this is a fair typer that should suit well the majority of demands and tastes. The keycaps feel great to the touch and are somewhat smudgy, and the general response is firmer than on prior TUF generations.

By redesigning the arrangement, adding an additional set of media keys at the top-left that were previously only accessible on ROG laptops, and adding a larger touchpad, Asus has slightly changed the inputs on this 2022 TUF Gaming series.

Even with a NumPad area, they still chose a full layout, and almost everything is positioned correctly. The arrow keys are broader than before but shorter and more crowded inside the rest of the keyboard, while the NumPad keys are narrower than the main deck of keys. But overall, this is a decent layout.

This TUF Dash generation's mouse has a 25% larger clickpad-style surface. Although it's composed of smooth plastic rather than glass, it has a similar feel to the click pads on more expensive Asus devices, and during my time using the laptop, I found it to be responsive and reliable. Even the actual clicks in the corners are quieter than on the TUF Gaming A15 reviewed a few weeks ago, and it's a really sturdy execution that doesn't shake with taps.

Display

For this 2022 TUF Dash F15 series, there are two sizes 15.6-inch, 16:9, matte, non-touch screen options:

FHD 144Hz has a brightness of 300+ nits and a color gamut of 65% sRGB; FHD 300Hz 3ms has a brightness of 300+ nits and a color gamut of 100% sRGB; and QHD 165Hz 3ms has a brightness of 350+ nits and a color gamut of 100% DCI-P3.

The Chi Mei panel, which was formerly included with entry-level TUFs and was reviewed here, is most likely the FHD 144hz option. It is pretty slow and dull. The QHD panel is what I'd suggest for multipurpose use in this class of notebooks, especially if you're choosing the higher-tier specs. The FHD 300Hz is a nicer mid-range alternative.

The mid-range FHD 300Hz panel on this Dash F15 sample replaces the QHD panel that we previously tested in the TUF A15. This FHD option is less sharp than the QHD because it has a lower resolution panel and only covers 70% of the DCI-P3 gamut. Although their maximum brightness is comparable at about 350 nits, the FHD panel has better contrast and blacks.

Additionally, this FHD model has a refresh rate of 300 Hz and response times that are somewhat faster than those of the QHD, making it arguably a marginally superior gaming option, particularly for fast-paced competitive games running at high framerates; GSync has not been incorporated; instead, only Adaptive-Sync has been used to prevent tearing.

Hardware Performance

The Intel Core i7-12650H CPU, 16 GB of dual-channel DDR5-4800 memory, 1 TB of SSD storage, and two graphics cards, the Nvidia RTX 3060 dGPU with 6 GB of vRAM are used in this model.

The 2022 Dash F15 series is constructed with the most recent Intel and Nvidia hardware. With 10 Cores and 16 Threads, the Intel Core i7-12650H is a mid-range 12th-generation Alder Lake processor. It is a hybrid CPU with 6 High-Performance Hyper-Threaded Cores and 4 Additional Efficiency Cores that can operate individually or jointly depending on the workload. The Dash F15's construction enables the processor to operate at 65+W of continuous power under heavy CPU demands while using the Turbo profile.

The 2022 Dash F15 series has RTX 3000 and RTX 3000 Ti graphics processor options for the GPU. An RTX 3060 is what we have on this sample, and it can operate at up to 105W with Dynamic Boost in games and programs that support it.

The laptop comes with two M.2 SSD slots and two accessible memory DIMMs for RAM and storage. Our device came preinstalled with a single PCIe gen3 SSD and 16 GB of dual-channel DDR5-4800 RAM. For the majority of requirements, this is adequate, and if you desire quicker storage, gen4 drives may be updated. For the sake of saving money, Asus only sells the series with gen3 storage out of the box.

The back panel must be removed in order to gain access to the components; it is secured in place by two Philips screws. Because these screws come in various sizes, reinstalling them requires caution. To remove the back panel, you'll need a prying tool because it is firmly fastened with sturdy plastic clips. I advise beginning at the front corner, where the pop-out screw is located, and moving outward from there.
