NVIDIA has unveiled its latest GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti for the budget gamers. These graphic cards are low priced at just £115/€125/$109 and £139/€155/$139 respectively. Also, these cards are among the most power efficient cards in the market.

NVIDIA promises that the performance of the cards would not disappoint the users. They have mentioned on their official blog that they are going to add two new gaming GPUs to their award- winning lineup the GeForce GTX 1050, which will be starting at $109, as well as the GTX 1050 Ti, which will be starting at $139.

GTX 1050

The standard GTX 1050 has 640 CUDA cores, 3.3 billion transistors, and a 128-bit memory bus. More features include 2 GB worth 7Gbps GDDR5 memory with a bandwidth of 112 GB/s and a boost clock of 1455 MHz.

GTX 1050 Ti

The slightly more powerful GTX 1050 Ti has an increased number of CUDA cores at 768 and is slightly higher-end. It has the same amount of transistors, GP107 GPU, and memory bus.

The 4 GB GDDR5 RAM is the increased RAM, though, with a clock speed of 1392 MHz and bandwidth of 112 GB/s. These add-ons come with a single DisplayPort, HDMI, and Dual-Link DVI ports.

The NVIDIA's GTX lineup comes with Pascal architecture so the GTX 1050 Ti is apparently 40% fast and 128% more power efficient.

Performance

The NVIDIA graphic cards have a TDP of just 75W, which means that they can be powered by the PCIe bus alone and don’t require external connectors. Some versions of the NVIDIA cards will, however, feature an additional power connector to allow for more overclocking headroom. These cards can even run on a 300W supply. Both cards are built on 14 nm processor and must I mention, NVIDIA's cards are more efficient than AMD’s cards, which have struggled to work under the designated TDP. All cards will come from NVIDIA partners like ASUS and MSI as there is no "Founders Edition" this time either.

Target Market

The target market of NVIDIA are the non-aggressive, low-budget users as well as eSports fans. The cards are set to run most AAA titles smoothly. That includes games like The Division, Fallout 4, GTA 4, GTA V, Overwatch, and The Witcher 3 at an average rate of 61 Frames Per Second at 1080p. The performance of GTX 1050 Ti should be even higher than this. The less demanding games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive or League of Legends should push into a higher rate, hundreds of FPS, which is theoretically 3x boost over the older GTX 650.

This series, if readily available could give AMD serious competition and quite a bit of a headache, as they are already struggling to compete in other segments. You will be able to buy the NVIDIA's new entry GTX 1050 Ti card by Tuesday, Oct. 25th, while the GTX 1050 will hit the market on November 8th. Paklap.pk will also offer these products to its customers soon.
