According to Nintendo, the Nintendo Switch system will allow the users to play single as well as multiplayer games at the comfort of their home. It is designed to be portable enough to be taken alongside whenever and wherever you want. To allow the users to be more mobile a handheld device has now been added to the list to improve the functioning of Nintendo NX, which will enable the user to try new gameplay styles.

According to rumors, the first thing to tackle is that it is both a home console and a handheld device at the same time. It is an evolution of the Wii U's Gamepad and is a hybrid of sorts.

It is a tablet device which has a docking station and appears to contain all the hardware. It can be plugged into the TV, and by this, it switches to a handheld device from a traditional home console.

Some patents showed that the Switch has two removable 'Joy-Con' controller sections, which can be attached at either end of the Switch tablet. This form makes it look like an improved Gamepad. Once in the dock station, you can move them to a controller to play games as per usual. The screen does not provide dual-screen features like the Wii U, as the screen on the tablet is hidden.

Due to unavailability of detailed specs, it is unclear whether the tablet section will have a touch screen or not. It is assumed that the screen would be present for using the interface easily, if not for playing games.

Nintendo switch has a bright high-definition display which will enhance the portability of the device. Other rumors suggest a screen resolution of up to 900 pixels.

There is a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller available to use with the Switch console in different modes. Some of the other features of Switch include the ability to share one, each to play multi- player, and can be shared among lots of people for 'a variety of gameplay options.'

The Switch can be used for more multi-player 'face-to- face' capabilities, quite a bit like 3DS, and the video shows up on four Switches being used together.

Nintendo NX console, which will be called the Switch is expected to be revealed on March 2017. The Nintendo Switch has a pre-order price of £399 or €499.
