Lenovo has announced a new laptop and people are going crazy over a new feature added. It is not because the laptop is light weighted and handy. The feature added is a special treat for the creative sketch makers and designers. Whole of the keyboard zone is replaced by a touch-sensitive surface, which has virtual keyboard keys and provides the user a sketching space to maximize the productivity and creativity.
Just like the previous premium Lenovo laptops, Yoga Book is equipped with a 360- degree hinge which grants the rotation of it's screen up to 360-degrees making it flexible for the users to use it in the style they desire. As per the acknowledgment by the manufacturers, the Lenovo's Yoga Book will be out in the market on 17th October. Only 0.21 inches thin body makes it one of the slimmest available laptops in the market. As concerned to the price, the windows version of Lenovo's Yoga Book will have a price tag of $550 while the Android version will cost $50 less.
This Yoga Book has a screen size of 10.1-inch with a 1920x1080 full HD display which is a satisfying pixel count for a screen of this size. The CPU inside the machine is the Intel's Atom x5, which may be paired with 4GB to 64GB of memory. There is an option to get 64GB of storage and a microSD slot for an extra memory requirement. The laptop uses an 8500 mAh battery which guarantees a battery timing of 15 hours.
The feature which makes the Yoga Book a contemporary laptop is the Halo Keyboard. Halo keyboard is a touch surface that can be used as a sketchpad for drawing or writing, and as a backlit typing device which will give a much-needed break to the fingers of the computer users from the keyboard keys. The touch-pad surface won't turn out to be a slippery ground after your hands start sweating. The touchpad is made of a textured glass which produces friction and prevents any such situation to occur. To switch between Halo Keyboard and touch surface, a touch toggle switch is used. Using this switch activates a touch surface having 2048 pressure points.
