The American tech company Intel Corporation is the leading chip making company for all the right reasons. 85% of the computers and laptops on the market use Intel’s chip for superior performance. After the successful 6th Generation Skylake chip, Intel has developed the 7th Generation chips with a code named; Kaby Lake. The major feature that Kaby Lake offers is the provision of 4K video quality feature to masses, and allows the manufacturers to generate even more powerful, lighter, and thinner models. And if Apple upgrades its MacBook Pro with Kaby Lake, it will be a 4K- ready laptop too.
Intel has not revealed yet that which manufacturing companies have been provided with which 7th Gen processors. But as per previous analysis, expected is that the powerful chips will be used in the iMac and MacBooks, and the low power chips will be used in mobile phones and tablets. These 7th Generation processors will be available in Core m3, core i3, core i5, and core i7. The structure of Kaby Lake is identical as the previous one Skylake with a 14-nanometer chip.
Apart from 4K video playback, the new processors are 3.5 times better in 3D performance and deliver 70% faster mobile productivity as compared to a 5-year old computer. The Intel Corporation claims that the upgraded Intel graphics will allow these new laptops to run about 9.5 hours of 4K video playback, and to play Overwatch in HD.
