HP has designed an integrated privacy screen in collaboration with 3M which is called “Sure view screen.” The new notebooks being launched by HP which are Elitebook 840 and Elitebook 1040 will have this privacy feature. For supreme user convenience, these laptops will be available on Paklap.pk soon.
Sure View Screen feature can be helpful for those who want to do their work privately even at a public area and do not want others to peek into their screen to see what they are doing. It is common for people to look onto the laptop screens while others are using it and honestly, there is nothing wrong with it. However, if one is dealing with sensitive information of their company like finances or confidential presentations, then Sure View Screen feature is a must have. Currently, many people use privacy filters for the screen of their device which cost them about $30-$80 each and if it is damaged it is to be completely replaced.
With the Sure View Screen, one will be unable to view the user’s screen unless they would be standing right behind them. The privacy filter can be activated by just pressing Fn+F2. The same will turn it off. With this feature enabled, the screen viewing from any angle other than parallel will dim the observation progressively depending on the angle being made.
The prices of Elitebook 840 and 1040 have not been announced but, the expected prices of the notebooks are to be $1,249 and $1,499 respectively. The touchscreen laptops will receive this feature in September while others will get this facility in October. The users will soon be able to buy them on Paklap.pk.
