We at Paklap.pk are happy to bring the news of the launch of Android 7.0 Nougat to our customers. The roll out of the final version of Android 7.0 Nougat has started with the selected Nexus devices. These devices are getting the latest operating system for smartphones launched by Google. This new version of operating system brings several improvements by tweaking the interface and adding several additional features. As per an estimate up to 250 major new features have been added. These new features will completely change the way one used his or her smartphone by improving the performance and battery life of the system.
Some of the main features of Android 7.0 Nougat are as follows:
1. Android 7.0 comes with Multi-Window support:
The Android 7.0 is now supporting multi-window feature, and each window is resizable by dragging the divider. This feature will allow the users to run multiple apps side by side. With the increasing size of the display screen of the smartphones, it makes sense to run multiple apps at a time.
2. Users will be able to respond to the notifications directly:
The Android has over gone a complete overhaul and now has a new template which will enable the users to respond to the notifications directly. This means the users will be able to reply to emails, chats or text via the notification pane.
3. The users will be able to enact the desired settings quickly:
Now with a single swipe, the users will be able to access their settings like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Flashlight, etc. All the essential shortcuts will be now available in the notifications shade and along with this now the Android N users will also be able to modify the order of these icons. This feature will allow the users of different devices to get the same level of par experience.
4. Users will now be able to choose multiple locales:
The users will now be able to select multiple locations in the settings. This will be the application of the smartphone to tailor their content. It will prove beneficial to multi-lingual people as the search engine will be able to show the content in all the selected languages.
5. The users will experience improved battery life:
Doze feature was introduced into the Android by Google. This new feature saved the battery while the cellphone was idle or at rest.
However this year the feature has been updated to work even when the user is moving.
6. Android N provides better performance:
Vulkan which is a cross-platform API for 3-D graphics is a new feature that has been introduced in the Android 7.0. This will boost the performance of games and other apps that use multi-core processors. Other apps are also optimized to run in the background. Thus, by preventing unnecessary access to the RAM the performance of the system is improved.
7. Android N is now more secure and faster:
When the device is turned on but not unlocked, it runs in a safe mode which is made possible by the Direct Boot Mode. The applications will not run during this mode. However, the apps can be set to make components run during this mode like critical message alerts or alarm clock.
8. Virtual Reality:
VR mode has been introduced in Android via Daydream. For making use of Daydream, the users will have to purchase devices compatible with Daydream which are being launched later this year.
