Massive leaks have revealed a huge amount of details regarding the upcoming Nintendo NX. The leaked data includes marketing strategy, bundle options, packaging, features, and whatnot. If the disclosed information turns out to be true, then Nintendo NX may be another heart-throb 4K console.

The Nintendo NX leak dump at Reddit states that the source of information is said to be from a worker at one of the major retailers. Once the console becomes available to the market, the retailer will be the consumer-to- market bridge, carrying the console. The leaked information seems to be highly accurate as the source has been verified, as claimed by the poster FlapSnapple.

Nintendo NX and 4K Support

Among the revealed details is the 4K support. This means Nintendo NX is compatible with the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox Scorpio and comes up to the requirements that are needed to go head-to- head with them. It should also be noted that only streaming was mentioned, no 4K gaming.

The Redditor has explained this in following words; "What this likely means is playback of content such as Netflix, etc.,", "Not gameplay.".

For gaming, players will need to settle with 1080p resolution of 60 frames-per- second, which according to many reports is not worthy. Other unconfirmed reports state 900p resolution on the handheld version.

The Marketing of Nintendo NX

The marketing revelation information has depicted that Nintendo has "Gaming on the go" marketing strategy. One source revealed about the Nintendo NX poster which reads, "Interact with your game on the go." This would be supporting and validating the previous rumors about a home and handheld console in one. The demo units are believed to arrive by February 2017. However, it was not revealed when the stores would put Nintendo NX on the shelves for the public.

The Price of Nintendo NX

The base price is reported to be at $299.99, while the Bundle should be priced at $399.99. The reports revealed that there are at least four titles at launch, which presumably includes one or more Mario titles. However, the content of the Bundle option is unknown at present.

The Release Date of Nintendo NX

Other details that were disclosed include the packaging size and colors. The Nintendo NX's box with blue and white color scheme will apparently be bigger than the Wii U's box. The name "NX" can be clearly seen printed on the box, and this indicates that this is the official name.

The timeframe of the target launch is not mentioned. According to the rumors the Nintendo NX, which has not yet been revealed by the Japanese company, will be unveiled soon. Techno Buffalo believes that the Nintendo NX will be released in March 2017 and still there are six months before the expected release date, so the time to worry about the NX has not yet come.
