The release of new iPad (12.9-inch iPad Pro and 9.7-inch iPad Pro) showed that iPad's future is worth observing for Paklappers and professionals alike as the iPad sales are not as they once used to be.
The new rumor says that Apple is considering to launch an "iPad mini Pro" with a 7.9-inch screen. Moreover according to the reliable Japanese Apple blog Macotakara, the 9.7-inch iPad Pro could be replaced with a 10.1-inch slightly large model.
The features that would make the iPad mini a "PRO" tablet would be features like; the True Tone display which was introduced on the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. For magnetically connecting the accessories like keyboards, mini Pro would have a Smart Connector, quad stereo speakers, an improved camera with 12-megapixels with True Tone flash and a new four-array microphone setup.
Talking about the updates of iPad mini, the iPad mini was last updated in 2015 with the iPad mini 4. Basically, as an iPad, the iPad mini is Air 2 with a smaller screen.
With a larger screen and the upgraded microphone, a larger 10.1-inch iPad Pro would break with the 9.7-inch display. Since The iPad launch in 2010, this display has been the standard size for the iPad. It is anticipated that microphone upgrade would be the same as of iPad mini Pro.
Moving to the larger screen means that Apple would have to increase the resolution potentially. The larger screen will give the users benefit of having more space to work on and create things. However, it is unclear that if the larger iPad Pro turns up, what would be the aspect ratio? Apple might as well discard the 4:3 aspect ratio.
This rumor is also in accordance with a past report from KGI Securities' analyst that Apple would introduce a larger iPad Pro. However, the screen size of the tablet claimed in that report was a 10.5-inch.
The 12.9-inch iPad Pro is also reportedly anticipated to get upgraded with all of the iPad mini Pro's improvements.
Apple removed the headphone jacks on the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus for making space for the large battery. However, the new iPad Pros will reportedly keep their 3.5mm headphone jacks.
