Google is a renowned name that has improved for the better throughout its timespan and even now, is continuously bringing innovations and changes that excite the audience all over the world. From software to games and from search engines to applications, everything Google has produced in its regime has been a step towards betterment in the world of technology.

As we all know, in 2012, Google sidetracked from its core competence and launched its first tablet (Google Nexus). Indeed, Google Nexus was a treat for all the customers and was a worry for all the brands in the tablet industry. Nexus has had several upgrades until now and all the upgrades are performing as per Google`s standard.

With all the success relating Google Nexus, Google has not sojourned at a particular theme. Google has now recently leaped into the Smartphone industry and has launched its state of the art smartphones that go by the name Pixel and Pixel XL. Both these remarkable devices entail the Android 7.1 Nougat and are expected to perform even better than Nexus series.

What’s Next For Google?

There have been reports regarding Google working on a particular project called “Andromeda”, which is expected to take the Android OS into the laptops and convertible form factor. Since last year, there have been reports regarding this project and all the Android fans have been waiting for this marvel since then.

Though there hasn’t been any official news regarding project Andromeda from any of Google`s employees or team members but there are still countless speculations foaming the internet regarding this phenomenon.

There has been a claim by 9 to 5 google that Google Andromeda is being tested on Nexus 9 tablet. It also states that the Android 7.0`s AOSP source code consists several mentions of Andromeda. One of the findings from these mentions states that Andromeda OS graphic performance score requirements are double as compared to Android graphic performance score requirement. From another mention, it was found that Andromeda would be having free-form Window management feature, which is the Android 7.0 Nougat`s highlight feature.

For now, evidence regarding Andromeda are not quite firm and since there hasn’t been any official announcement, Google Andromeda, at least for now is staying in the dark.
