The Government of Pakistan has made some changes in the fiscal policies to reduce the taxes that were previously implied on the freelancers, IT industries, and startups. The IT industries are now exempted from taxes as per clause 133; Part IV, Second Schedule which was replaced by the tax credit regime. As for the freelancers, if you are providing IT or IT services internationally, then you will be exempt 100% from the taxes. This applies under final tax regime (FTR) under section 154 A in tax credit case under section 65 F.
