Alder Laker Architecture – P-Core and E-Core
As per the official Intel site, it has a hybrid architecture that includes Performance Cores (P-Core) and Efficiency Cores (E-Core). All the cores, be it P-Core or E-Core, are built on the Intel® 7 platform. This is their latest, space-saving node, which came six years later. The former one was based on a 14nm process.
Thanks to the performance cores, these chips will be the most performing CPUs one has ever experienced. P-cores are designed to give the highest single-thread performance and responsiveness for demanding tasks like gaming and 3D illustrations.

Intel 12th Generation Processor Release Date
Alder Lake chips were first launched for x86 desktop PCs, back in January 2022. It wasn’t until very recently that laptop chips were made available.
Laptop manufacturing companies like HP, Lenovo, Dell, ASUS, Acer, and MSI, are already in contracts with Intel for these new performance-insane chips. Some of them have already announced the models that will have cutting-edge processors. These include gaming laptops and premium notebooks mostly.

HP 12th Generation Laptops

Dell Alder Lake Laptops
Dell has announced to introduce of these chips in their business and gaming series. One of those gaming series is Alienware. Their Alienware X14, Alienware, m15 R7, Alienware X15 R2, and Alienware X17 R2 will confirmed have the Intel hybrid processor. Added to this, Dell has also introduced desktop PCs that will have the Alder Lake.
Lenovo 12th Generation Laptops
One of the best professional series by Lenovo, their ThinkPads will also have these processors. ThinkPad X1 Extreme, IdeaPads, and the latest tablets will officially have Intel Alder Lake.
Asus Alder Lake Laptops
As per what is officially announced by the company, some of their elite notebooks, and gaming series will have the Intel hybrid processors. These elite series are Vivobook S 15, Zenbook 14X, and Zenbook Pro Duo, boasting up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7.
The gaming series that are announced to include the same processor are Asus ROG STRIX and Asus TUF.
