Which is the better gaming console, Xbox One or Play Station 4? It is too difficult a question as both the consoles have incredible features. However, this debate has always been in conversations amongst the fans. Here is Paklap.pk's verdict on the much heated debate:
The two rulers of the kingdom of gaming consoles have been in the news lately. Sony has announced its PlayStation 4 Neo which will be launched at the end of 2016 or initial months of 2017. This was followed by the news of Microsoft’s Xbox One S- a smaller version of Xbox One.
Xbox One is bigger in size than PS4. To be precise, Xbox One is measured to be 7.9 x 27.4 x 33.3cm, whereas PS4 is 5.3 x 27.5 x 30.5cm.
To keep the processor from overheating while extreme gaming, Xbox has an additional ventilation system for ensuring a long lasting life. Size does not vary too much, and can be compromised if the features of Xbox One attract you more.
In terms of resolution, PS4 has an edge. Where Xbox One offers a veraciously vivid resolution, PS4 displays an even higher one. Some games which run at 720p on Xbox can be displayed at 1080p in PS4.
Xbox One has Windows 10 as the operating system; featuring options that will make using the console easy for you. PS4 is also quite effortless in use. It also features interesting options like taking snapshots or handling the control of your game to an online friend.
Both the consoles will provide you with an option of off-TV play. You can connect the PS4 to your PC, Mac, and other supporting devices. Xbox One can be connected to laptops that have Windows 10 as their operating system. There will be no storage problems with either of the devices as both offer a 500GB hard drive, 8GB of RAM, an AMD Radeon GPU and 8- core x86-64 AMD Jaguar processor.
PS4 requires a single power cable to be connected with a socket. This makes it pretty flexible to move from one place to another and easy to install. In comparison to this, Xbox contains a big power brick for wiring purposes, which will require a little more attention for attaching the cables properly to the right sockets. However, Xbox One has three USB ports for the provision of more connectivity options, while PS4 has two ports.
Paklap.pk’s Verdict:
Both PS4 and Xbox One have made unique places in the gaming market and the hearts of the gamers. Where PS4 loses a mark, Xbox gains it and where Xbox loses a mark, PS4 wins it over. With both the consoles having incredible features, the debate was inevitable. So, to be honest, both are amazing and have very slight differences. It all depends on which one suits you better.
