It is about time that we clear the misconception that Paklap is not a Laptop Store; it is an online Tech Store. As mentioned earlier, we deal in various other gadgets and all things tech. Perhaps, as we initiated with selling computers, or maybe because there is “lap” in our name.

Paklap’s History

Paklap was discovered in 1995, as a retail outlet, vending laptops and computers. Back then, there was a hype of Pentium 1, 2 and 3. With time technology moved forward to Pentium 4 and laptops were in their initial stages. Computers used to have CPUs loaded with CD-ROMs, floppy drives, processors, RAMS, and whatnots. Must we mention, they were quite heavy back then. Thus, when much lighter laptops were introduced, people were drooling over it, and everyone wanted to own one for their self. People got familiarized of a thing called “Internet”. World Wide Web, Yahoo and Hotmail were lately launched. Internet helped people in connecting with their loved ones from different corners of the world via the good ole’ e-mail service.

Time passed, technology evolved, and people’s needs with respect to technology changed. In 2005 we decided to pace with technology and reach out to every single person out there. In 2007 we started our online site, from where you could order your gadget while enjoying the comfort of your home or office. This was when you guys knew us as www.paklap.com and not www.paklap.pk. More of you guys got to enjoy our products and services, liked it and gave positive feedbacks. Thus, encouraging us to expand further. We added more products to our offerings, initiated a blog section to assist you while keeping you informed.
