"Just as the rivalry between Xbox and PlayStation took the market by storm, so has it going in the graphic cards. NVIDIA and AMD are two big names involved in intense competition. NVIDIA, however, wins the fight most of the times. The reason is pretty simple and that is because NVIDIA offers graphic cards for not just gaming but almost all professional use. Their cards may be of a higher price but that is to cover for the increased quality and innovation they have to offer their customers. They never fail to amaze their customers. GTX 1080 graphics card powered by Pascal was an outstanding creation by NVIDIA. What really highlighted the technology was the fact that it supported for Virtual reality experiences. Superior vapor chamber cooling technology was used so to keep the devices cool for as long as it was in use. This new graphics card was 3 times faster than the previous technology and topped relative performance charts in games like Witcher 3 and Rise of the Tomb raider.

Now, with that in mind, customers can’t seem to control their excitement regarding the news of the upcoming 1080 Ti. Upcoming NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is expected to launch during the Consumer Electronics Show which will be held in Las Vegas, January 2017. CES is a respectable and renowned technology show, which already builds a good image for this graphics card. Hsun Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, will be speaking for it and revealing important specifications along with the release date. Paklap.pk has gathered some specifications and details from multiple reports and tech sites to paint a rough picture for the techies.

GTX 1080 Ti will be using Pascal GP102 silicon architecture. This will undoubtedly give a much better output than the 1080 that is already out in the market. Its specifications are such that it is expected to stand against the expensive Titan X. It will also have the specs of 3,328 CUDA cores and a 12 GB GDDR5X. Boost clock will have a capacity of up to 1,623 MHz which is an improvement on both Titan X’s 1,531 and previous GTX 1080 with 1,606 MHz’s.

One would be expecting a high rise increase in the price after looking at such improvements. NVIDIA, however, has kept it near to what previously was being charged for GTX 1080, USD 600. This new graphics card is expected to be in the range of USD 700-800. This price range will make it the most expensive GPU by NVIDIA, however, only slightly higher than GTX 1080. When compared to much expensive Titan X at USD 1200, this seems like a fair deal. While these were just gathered from rumors, we will all have to wait until the release date and see for ourselves what it actually holds.

Although NVIDIA has just announced the GTX 1080 Ti yet but many are already speculating about the GTX 20 series cards which may include the GTX 2080, GTX 2070 or even the GTX 2060."
