Sony’s latest wireless headphones are all you need to have right now and therefore bid farewell to your Bose QuietComfort. Looks like Sony is all set to take on this side of the market too. While previously it was Bose that was ruling the niche, but now Sony has got everyone talking about their new gadget. Adding to the hype of wireless headphones, iPhone 7’s headphone jack has undoubtedly increased the demand for these.
They may look simple from afar but Sony has kept its simplicity classy. Even though it is made of plastic but still the material is a tough one and not the usual cheap looking. When put on the ears, they feel super soft due to the synthetic leather wrapped on ear pads and cups. A certain type of foam has been used inside which gives a good grip and adjusts according to the head size.
Coming to the features, they all compliment the whole outlook of the device. On the left ear cup is a chip that enables fast Bluetooth pairing. The right ear cup has touch sensitive control through which user can change volume and tracks as well. There is also a USB port for charging and other connections. Controls over sound are user friendly. One can select the ambient sound mode which allows him/her to partially hear sounds of outside world and the Quick listen mode which gives complete sounds without having to take off the headphone. Everything aside, its Noise Cancellation feature is probably the all time highlight. For this very reason, Sony MDR-1000X becomes a useful gadget for travelling in trains and airplanes. It swiftly shuts the outside noises, giving you only the sound that you choose to hear.
Summing it up, Sony has definitely outdone them and given a neck to neck competition to Bose with their noteworthy Noise Cancellation feature. Not just this, a couple of other extra modes enhance the experience and give much more flexibility than what the usual headphones give. In terms of price it may be a little hard on your pocket than Bose, but the excellent quality makes it all worth the try.
