FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR)

FSR uses cutting-edge technologies to maximize the framerates and deliver high-resolution visuals with ultimate clarity. 

FidelityFX Contrast Adaptive Sharpening 

This is another one of FidelityFX technology’s features, called Contrast Adaptive Sharpening (CAS). It sharpens the visuals and restores the important details after TAA is applied. It makes your gaming experience more immersive than ever. It is, however, suggested that you turn off Radeon™ Image Sharpening from the graphics settings to prevent the visuals from getting too sharp to view. 

FidelityFX Ambient Occlusion

AMD RDNA architecture-optimized Ambient Occlusion (AO) dynamically improves the appearance of on-screen characters and objects based on the lighting of the immediate surroundings. It does this by a more realistic approach to geometrical shading.

FidelityFX Variable Shading

Talking about shading, there is another feature that ensures superior quality visuals and great performance. By performance we mean the shading rate and frame rates. It does this by using AMD RDNA 2 architecture that features Variable Rate Shading (VRS) to evaluate frames per second and brings about the necessary changes to render better visuals and enhanced performance. There is a Full Shading Rate, a 2x1 or 1x2 Shading Rate, and a 2x2 Shading Rate, each giving different results.

FidelityFX Screen Space Reflections

The Stochastic Screen Space Reflections (SSSR) by AMD have assigned compute shaders to bring about supreme-quality reflections while removing the noise from the visuals.

FidelityFX Downsampler

Well, the AMD RDNA architecture comes into play, once again. AMD’s smart Single Pass Downsampler (SPD) uses the Mipmapping technique for enhancing rendering speed and reducing distortion.

FidelityFX Parallel Sort

Radix Sort Algorithm is one of the fastest sorting algorithms that is optimized into the Radeon RX graphics cards through AMD RDNA architecture. Radix Sorting is 2X faster than regular sorting, hence giving you a better in-game experience without losing any details.
