"Ever since the launch of Samsun’s Galaxy Note 7 phones in August, it is believed that the manufacturer sold around 4.3 million of the handsets. However, tragedy struck when these handsets literally started exploding. Now that November has come to an end, people are still waiting on and on for an explanation to come from Samsung. An explanation for what you ask? Well, an explanation pertaining to the reasons why the countless Galaxy Note 7 explosions took place and were part of the news for much of the months of September and October. As per latest reports, it is expected that the manufacturer is about to make an announcement in this regards by the end of the current year.

Over the past months, there were quite a few theories doing the rounds with the intentions of explaining the reasons behind the battery of the Galaxy Note 7 would get overheated to the point that it would actually make the phone explode. However, what’s most interesting is the fact that Samsung has not acknowledged any of the countless theories going around. For that reason, there is plenty of mystery surrounding the issue of the exploding batteries.

Once the company was pressurized into calling for a worldwide recall, it became necessary for Samsung to conduct investigations over the explosions. Although it is the battery of the phone that is believed to be the ignition point, but the fact of the matter is that there are plenty of other elements as well that may have triggered the said explosions in the phone.

In the beginning, Samsung had made an initial announcement that the batteries of the phone were faulty. With that, the manufacturer even went on to claim that replacing the batteries is going to make the phones safe to use. However, things turned for the worst and it became necessary for Samsung to recall the handsets once again. It was at this point that the manufacturer even had to halt the production of this phone.

A new round of investigations

On the 11th of November, the manufacturer took on a new round of investigations to learn about the causes of the explosions. The investigations were launched in partnership with product safety authorities as well as experts who came in from the USA and Korea. It is believed that the final results of this particular investigations are going to be revealed to the world by the end of 2016."
