We have all heard about the famous Google “Nexus” phones and how they took the market by their high-end software and built-in applications. The hype was mainly because, amongst all the other, Nexus would always be the first phone to get updates of its operating software “Android”. This one factor created a huge demand for these phones.
News has it that Google is going to be renaming their Nexus series and launching it with the name “Pixel” instead. The product is expected to launch somewhere around 4th of October. Like always, there aren’t any confirmed specifications of the phone but rumors have sorted out some.
Google is supposed to launch two phones named as Pixel X and Pixel XL. Pixel X will have a screen of 5.2 inches and a striking resolution of 1920 x 1080p. Pixel XL is slightly bigger with a screen of 5.5 inches and an even more astounding display of 2560 x 1440p, Quad HD. Other than this a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or 821 SoC would be there with 4GB of ample RAM. Back camera would be about 12 MP and front 8 MP. All the good phones have the same camera, and so Pixel series is expected to compete with the same top quality smartphones. Additional USB type C port will come built in so that users can connect their phones to other multimedia devices.
Similar to Apple, Google too will announce their new phone at an event in San Francisco. On that event, a lot of hardware announcements are due along with the release dates and prices. Google is a renowned brand and customers always expect high from them. Paklpa.pk wishes all the luck to Google for their upcoming release.
