Since the last four years, Apple has been releasing a new iPad Pro mini each year. The mini tablet has not gained much appreciation from the critics. However, still, it is being rumored that iPad Pro mini or iPad mini5 will be released in September 2016. Currently, there have been no leaks on the prototypes or the components of the iPad Pro mini, but people are convinced that it will be launched along with iPhone 7 in September this year. It is rumored that for the iPad mini-series Apple will be using 7000 Aluminium. It is stiffer and lighter than lower grade Aluminium. iPad will more likely look similar to iPad mini 4 and will also have same 7.9 Retina display but, will be thinner by being just 5mm thick. It is also expected that Apple will offer iPad Pro mini in Rose Gold color.

 3D-touch: 3D-touch can sense how much pressure has been applied and will offer the options based on it. It is being said that this feature will soon come to the iPad mini line.

 IP68 protection: Apple hardware is not waterproof and in its comparison, Samsung is offering dust and water resistant devices. Having IP68 protection on an iPad might be just a wish which won’t be fulfilled.

 Apple Pencil: If Apple launches an iPad Pro mini rather than iPad mini5 then it might come with an Apple stylus.

It is rumored that the new iPad Pro mini will have following specifications:

 Processor: iPad mini Pro is likely to have Apple A9 processor and M9 motion coprocessor.

 32 GB memory storage as standard: The iPad4 was offered with 16GB, 64GB and 128GB memory storage. However, it is being said that the new iPad mini will have 32GB memory storage as standard. This has been offered in the iPad Pro, so there is a high chance of having the same for the iPad mini line.

 Screen: Apple might not upgrade the screen resolution but will offer 3D touch feature.

 Battery: iPad mini will have same less capacity battery i.e. 5,124mAh battery which will fit into the 5mm frame.

 Camera: iPad mini will have 8MP back camera and 1.2 MP front camera.

 Headphone port: There will be no headphone port, as iPhone 7 will most likely ditch 3.5mm headphone port and will have D-jack. If iPhone 7 will lose headphone port, then iPad mini will lose it too.
