Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 7
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 7 is newly launched in 2022. Just like all Yoga series laptops, this one also has a touchscreen by default and comes with an integrated pen. The major upgrade is the much-talked-about 12th Generation processor but the ‘Track My Device’ feature is pretty cool as well. You can use your smartphone to locate your PC even when it is powered off using the Tile® service.
Processor
Since the machine is powered by the 12th Generation Intel Core i7-1270P Processor (12 Cores - 16 Threads), a lot more cores and threads than the previous gen, you get better performance and speed. The clock speed of the processor for normal use is 3.5 GHz, which is quite high already but you can take multitasking to a whole new level with the Intel Turbo Boost Technology that can amp up the clock speed to 4.8 GHz.
Storage and RAM
The 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM in this device is soldered onto the motherboard. This means it cannot be upgraded later. However, 16 GB DDR5 RAM, operating at a 5200 MHz clock speed is itself quite potent for any creative work you need to do or for multitasking in general.
You also get a 512 GB PCIe Solid State Drive to save your files and data.
Graphics and Display
