Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold is the coolest laptop on the market. How? Well, it features a foldable touchscreen which has changed the way people use laptops for work, study, and play. While it may look like a 13.3” tablet but at 1kg, it is too clunky for that label.
Build and Design
With a built-in kickstand, ThinkPad X1 Fold deploys to a 13.3-inch screen with a detached keyboard, transforming the device into a mini desktop. However, if you attach the keyboard over half of the folded screen it transforms into a compact notebook, perfect for travel. Also, it can be folded into the footprint of a hardback novel when you pack it away.
Since, this is a 2-in-1 convertible laptop, with a detachable keyboard, you get a Lenovo Pen Pro with your purchase so you can sketch and take notes. Moreover, the hinges that allow you to fold the screen are solid enough to stand up to everyday use.
As for the exterior, the black leather-coated chassis gives a premium feel of an old journal. Now, the detachable keyboard connects to the screen with Bluetooth. However, if you want to attach the keyboard to the screen to use it as a laptop, it attaches to it magnetically. The elastic loop on the side of the keyboard lets you put your Lenovo Pen Pro safely. That said, there is a small trackpad included for navigation as well.
