The Lenovo ThinkPad P52 Mobile Workstation was powered by Intel’s 8th Generation of Coffe Lake Series of high-end processors, which assisted the notebook in achieving that workstation factor. Design
The design is bulkier than your usual laptop dimensions, as more capable processing requires more capable airflow, it allows the internal components specifically the CPU and GPU to function for longer periods, without thermal throttling which helps in delivering maximum performance. The chassis enclosing the whole package is crafted from Glass-Fiber Reinforced Plastic for the top panel, whereas the Bottom panel is made from Magnesium and aluminum.

The Central Processing Unit opted for this specific Lenovo P52 is none other than the Intel Core i7 8850H 8th Generation Coffee Lake Processor, which packs inside 6 cores, and 12 threads this allows for more versatile multicore and multi-threaded performance. The cores are initially clocked at 2.6 GHz, which then Turbo Boosts to reach a max clock frequency of 4.30 GHz.
It comes integrated with the Intel® UHD Graphics 630, which provides support for minor graphical processing required by the machine. As standard it comes at a clocked rate of 350 MHz, which is then clocked to a max clock of 1.15 GHz.
