HP Spectre 14 EF0775ng Core i7 Laptop in Pakistan
Sitting at the top of HP's premium laptop offerings, the latest HP Spectre x360 14 EF0775ng is now powered by Intel's latest Alder Lake series of processors.
Design
The design is simply inherited from past iterations, all thanks to its incredible rigidity, and diamond-cut appearance over the corners which makes it easily distinguishable from other laptops. The overall profile of the product is kept slim and sleek so that it can be moved from one point to another without feeling like a burden.
12th Generation Processor
Driving the processes under the hood is the Intel Core i7 1255u, 12th Gen processor, that is borrowed by the U series, which prioritizes maximizing the battery capacity and minimizing the power consumption of the device.
It comes dyed with a set of 2 performance and 8 efficiency cores, that allow it to outperform all the other offerings in the same budget, while also complementing the potential this device demands. The performance cores are provided with a base clock frequency of 1.1 GHz, which can be overclocked to achieve a max clock frequency of 4.70 GHz. This assists the notebook in making up for the high-density computing operations.
On the other side of the spectrum are the efficiency cores, which restrict the power consumption of the unit to vary between 15 watts and 55 watts, allowing it to deliver optimized multicore and multithreaded computations.
Processing the visuals to be displayed is the Intel’s Integrated Iris Xe Graphics, which are provided with a render clock frequency of 1.25 GHz, while also supporting Direct X 12.1, which makes the setup capable of creative applications like photo/video editing, 3d modeling, rendering or even decent gaming. It is also potent enough to output at a resolution of 4096 x 2304 to an externally supported display through HDMI at a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
Memory and Storage
The laptop comes with a memory configuration of 16GB LPDDR4 which is soldered on board and clocked at the frequency of 4266 MHz, which helps to provide decent multitasking performance for the Windows applications installed.
On top of that, the storage fitted inside is the PCIe Gen NVMe Solid State Drive packing a capacity of 512 GB. This storage drive provides the computer with high-speed read and write capabilities. The housing M.2 slot is upgradeable for a high-capacity drive for more storage in the future.
Display
The main highlight of the Spectre x360 is its incredible 34.3 cm/13.5-inch diagonal panel, which displays the content processed in the back at a perfected resolution of WUXGA+ at 1920 x 1280. The display is IPS, therefore it guarantees a more vibrant color production than the TN or VA panels, it is also multitouch-enabled to complement the 360-degree rotating form factor. The cover is stretched edge-to-edge glass which tries to provide a maximum screen-to-body ratio with its micro-edges. The surface is also anti-reflection with the help of a special coating and ensures its scratch protection by being supported by the Corning Gorilla Glass NBT. For the protection of sight, it emits Low Blue Light while also reaching a maximum attainable brightness of 400 nits while providing 100% coverage of the sRGB space, making the notebook compatible with all kinds of color-accurate applications.
Battery
Providing power to all the components is the 4 4-cell Lithium-Ion Polymer battery that allows a capacity of 66 Wh, which allows a battery life for mixed usage spanning around 2 hours, and fast charges using the 65-watt USB Type-C AC adapter.
Keyboard and Trackpad
The keyboard fitted is a Full-size, LED-backlit Poseidon blue keyboard, being backlit it can be also easily used in darker environments, with a fully clickable and multi-gesture supported Trackpad.
Other Specs
The Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (2x2) and Bluetooth® 5 combo wireless card handle the wireless signals, which also supports Gigabit file transfer speeds.
While allowing connection for the external devices are the 2 Thunderbolt™ 4s with USB4™ Type-C, a 40 Gbps signaling rate and support for USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-A with a 10 Gbps signaling rate also supporting HP Sleep and Charge, 1 headphone/microphone combo, and an SD Card Slot.
The notebook uses the included fingerprint reader for quick and secure Windows profile logins. The included webcam is an HP True Vision cam which records and shoots at a resolution of 720p HD and also supports IR with a physical camera shutter and an integrated dual array digital microphone. Whereas the audio setup is powered by Bang & Olufsen, over the configuration of Quad speakers with the support for HP Audio Boost.
