It has 12th Generation Intel® Core i7 processor in the variant 12700H. It has 14-cores and 20-threads, with each core being able to handle 24 MB Intel® Smart Cache. There are 6 Performance Cores (P-Cores) having a Max Turbo Frequency of 4.7 GHz, and 8 Efficiency Cores (E-Cores) having a Max Turbo Frequency of 3.5 GHz. Overall, the clock rate of this processing chip is 2.3 GHz to 4.7 GHz.
This generation of processors, codenamed Alder Lake, offers a big leap in performance over the previous generation. The content creators will get to enjoy 2X more performance, and the gamers will notice a 13% upgrade in performance than the predecessor.
