Build and Design
The new Apple MacBook Pro 16 Z14X001GF edition has the same chassis design as the previous model, but it feels a bit thicker this time around. Because the shell is not tapered, the chassis height is nearly constant throughout. However, the new MBP 16 and the old MacBook Pro don't really vary significantly from a subjective standpoint. The latest version is still significantly thicker than the MBP 16 from before. Once more, the chassis' construction is almost perfect. Again, the aluminum unibody structure of the Apple device radiates a very high degree of quality, and neither of the two colors (silver and space gray) is particularly prone to fingerprints or smudges. This thing is pretty sturdy and makes no creaking noises. The lid is generally extremely sturdy, too.
Apple continues to be far ahead of its rivals when it comes to keyboard illumination, which is automatically on and off and has very little intensity change.
