Siri, more of a friend (always there when needed) for Apple users than a virtual assistant, is now about to be introduced to the Apple Desktops, laptops and notebooks. Just a few months after its launch, Ask Siri gained more fame than the memes of Donald Trump. With the latest iPhone updates, it has gotten even better than before. It is designed to respond faster and with respect to the user’s previous browsing history.

At the Cupertino headquarters conference of Apple Inc., an announcement was made regarding Siri being added to the Mac PCs. They concluded that later in 2016, Apple will introduce Siri with their Sierra update for Mac. As the users update their PC, they will also gain access to the Siri software. It is more than just a reason to rejoice. Apple just doesn’t fail to surprise (in a happy way mostly) its users. People are already tweeting about it, saying things like “cannot wait for the next update”, ”this is why Apple is the best”,”Siri is here to stay”, etc. and sharing the respective links vigorously.

Siri was already a part of iPhone, iPod, Apple’s Television box and iWatch and now we get to enjoy it on iMac too. Siri, sure as hell, is here to stay!

For once a person might think, “Dude! Siri is just not leaving us alone”, but is it not what we really want? We always wanted something that will help us get the job done simply by saying it. The software has literally granted us our wishes. Siri define grotesque. Siri open iMessage and type a message. Siri check mails. Siri do I have any reminders today, a birthday, a meeting, or anything else? Siri how is the weather today; can I go out for hiking? Siri open Gmaps and find Cupertino. Siri locate Hampshire. Siri how far is Atlanta from New York. Siri help me book New York flights for the week. I suppose the day is not far when we will ask Siri to get us the TV remote and bake us pizza.

As MS introduced Cortana to their Windows computers, Apple introduced Siri to their Mac series. After all, it is all about giving the users what they want. Just as Cortana comes built-in with the Windows PCs, Siri will also come built-in with the Mac laptops and computers.

Life will be so much easier with Siri introduced to Mac PCs. Craig Federighi, CEO of Apple Inc. displayed how Siri can promptly find the files and documents stored on your PC, play your favourite songs and fetch you news, images and videos from over the web.

The company is currently working on making Siri better. It will be able to access your voice from far away while working at the office, cooking in the kitchen, while you are on your bed and while driving the car. It will also be able to distinct between words that sound similar by making sense out of what is being said.
