When it comes to tablets, tons of companies have been trying to be successful in making them work like laptops. Samsung did try to make this possible with their Tab Pro S, which unfortunately was not as successful in providing the users with what they really wanted. However, now Samsung has come out with the Windows 10 - powered Galaxy Book which is a device that has become a growing part of the impressive contenders in this race.

But to be honest, we feel that this time around, Samsung has gone one step forward, yet they’ve gone one step back with the new product. Why? Let’s find out!

Isn’t It More of An Android Tablet?

The Galaxy Book comes with sylphlike dimensions that make it seem more like an Android tablet rather than a Windows PC. It is 7.36mm thick and weighs 1.66 pounds. It also has smooth round edges so the pretense seems slimmer. This tablet comes with a keyboard case and a stylus. The keyboard has a smooth buttery touch to it making typing manageable and it has a professional feel to it.

Complementing the Look And Feel

It seems that this year the Galaxy Notebook is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S. One of the main features that stand out in the new Galaxy Book is its 12-inch, 2160x1400 Super AMOLED display. Because of the quality of the display, the view of photos and videos becomes more vigorous as it produces profoundly saturated colors. Samsung tries its best to slow down the process of backlight being dimmer in the LCD by using screensavers and screen-dimming software. This screen-dimming process helps to reduce the effects that come from pixel degeneration.

The Specs Are Amazing; No Questions Asked!

The specs of the Samsung Galaxy Notebook consist of 7th Gen. Intel Core i5 7200U dual-core 3.1 GHz processor. It also has 8GB RAM space, 256GB SSD storage space and a 13-megapixel rear camera with the front camera being 5 megapixels. This version is also available with an LTE radio along with 4GB of RAM space and 128GB SSD storage space. Not to forget, there’s one more Wi-Fi version with the same amount of RAM. Another version of this tablet exists but, of course, it has a petite body as compared to this one.

Hardware Is Alright... Nothing Special

It has an upstanding display angle which is completely stable on either a desk or a table. The flap around the tablet folds under the back and keep the notebook standing up. Inside the keyboard, they have included a small illustration that shows you the few different ways in which you can fold it into a stand in screen display angles.

The First Windows 10 Tablet to Have S-Pen

The Samsung Galaxy Notebook is the first Windows 10 tablet which includes the Samsung “S-Pen” technology which has only been extensively used on Note series of distinctive tablets. This Notebook comes with a Windows 10 Home pre-installed in every demeanor.

In conclusion, it seems that in all aspects the Samsung Galaxy Notebook is better than the TabPro S, which the highlighted features and specs have proven.

It will be soon available in our Samsung Galaxy’s tablet section!
